Jeffrey A. Malatesta

I have practiced law since 2007 with focus on all civil litigation and complex business litigation. I have significant experience in consumer fraud cases, dispute resolution and business counseling. I help people who need legal advice or wish to take legal action. Large and small businesses alike employee me as general counsel for advice drafting and reviewing contracts, company changes, litigation, trademarking, collection work, and negotiation.Prior to joining Mattleman, Weinroth & Miller, I had an extensive litigation background, handling construction litigation, slip and falls, wrongful death and motor vehicle accidents throughout New Jersey. I have previously clerked in Philadelphia where I drafted pleadings for civil rights violation matters and personal injury cases. I also worked for the City Attorney’s office in Camden, New Jersey. While in Law School at Rutgers, I focused on litigation, practical skills and writing. I participated in Hunter Moot Court, and obtained 18 writing credits, where only six were required.During my career, I have regularly handled a high volume of litigation cases in nearly every county in the State of New Jersey.I make a daily effort to educate myself on changes in the law, including recent court decisions and other changes to existing law. As supervising attorney, I train other attorneys in various aspects of legal practice and regularly attend legal education classes to ensure a relevant and modern skill set.
