Biography

Jeffrey D. Upp received his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law (J.D., 2016) where he served as Associate Managing Editor (2015-2016) and Associate Editor (2014-2015) of the Missouri Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia, where he graduated with honors (B.J., 2013, cum laude). He joined the firm as an associate in 2016.

Mr. Upp is licensed to practice in Missouri and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, United States District Court for the District of Kansas, United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.

Mr. Upp focuses his practice on products liability defense, insurance defense, legal malpractice defense, and general civil practice.
