Biography

Jeffrey Rehmeyer provides legal counsel to businesses, municipalities, and individuals. He forms partnerships with his clients by developing an intimate understanding of their goals and needs. He applies that information to explore legal options and develop a strategy based upon them. Jeff regularly advises public officials on many of the complicated issues facing them today including, open meetings laws (the Sunshine Act), Right To Know Law, conflicts of interest, election matters, parliamentary procedure, redevelopment and land use. He also represents buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and developers of real property in all types of real estate transactions, including negotiating, structuring and documenting the purchase, sale, leasing, land use and development of property. Jeff has growing experience in condominium matters, including the formation of both residential and commercial condominiums, as well as, their governance and operations thereafter.Jeff is adept in combining his knowledge of these areas of the law, business principles, and economics to the advantage of his clients. He understands the “ins and outs” of dealing with local governmental and quasi-governmental entities. Jeff also works well with financial institutions, understanding the legal issues involved with loan documentation. He is a skilled negotiator and able to communicate effectively. And he is often called upon to use such skills in combination to benefit his clients’ interests and further their goals.
