Biography

Jeffrey practices law in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, civil rights law and police misconduct, auto and truck accidents, product liability, premises liability, property damage, and insurance litigation. A graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law, Jeffrey was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar, and then joined SiebenCarey as an associate attorney. Jeffrey is now a shareholder in the firm, is also admitted in to practice law in Minnesota Federal District Court, 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the State of Wisconsin. Prior to joining the firm, Jeffrey served as a law clerk to Harry A. Sieben from 1996-1998. Jeffrey was chosen by Minnesota Lawyer as one of its "2014 Attorneys of the Year". Recipients of the annual Attorneys of the Year award are selected based on leadership in the profession and involvement in major cases. Most recently, Jeffrey was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2018 in the field of Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation. Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Jeffrey has been named a Super Lawyers Honoree every year since 2013 in an annual survey by Super Lawyers. In addition, he was previously named a Rising Star, which asks Minnesota's top lawyers to identify an elite group of emerging lawyers, either under the age of 40 or in practice less that ten years. Jeffrey received the honor of Rising Star from 1999-2012. Jeffrey has helped recover damages for hundreds of injured people by helping them navigate through the complexities of a personal injury claim. His main objective is to protect his clients' rights in negotiations and, if necessary, through trial and appeal.
