Jeffrey R. Blair

Originally hailing from Texas, Jeffrey Blair grew up in West Virginia where he was an active member of the boy scouts and played music in high school and local bands. In 2009, he obtained his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He later graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 2013. Blair began his career as a student attorney while attending law school, where he worked with local businesses and municipalities in obtaining and developing real estate. After law school, Blair was selected as a law clerk, working for three Circuit Court Judges in West Virginia’s 30th Judicial Circuit. He ran a successful law practice, Blair Law Firm, starting in 2015, focusing on child custody issues, criminal law, and real estate. While running his practice, he was active in local politics and served on the board for the Putnam County Development Authority. After getting married and starting a family, Blair re-located to Virginia Beach, where his wife is from. In 2021, Blair joined the Chesapeake Public Defender’s office where he tried many cases from DUIs to serious felony matters. Blair joined our law office in 2022, where he helps our clients through child custody issues and other family law matters, traffic citations, and DUIs.
