Biography

Jeff is an advocate for injured people, an attorney and partner at SiebenCarey. He practices in all areas of personal injury law. He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota Federal District Court, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the State of Wisconsin. Before becoming an attorney, Jeff served as a volunteer teacher in Bucaramanga, Colombia, South America. He handled work assignments for the Dakota County Sheriff's Department in Hastings and worked with Central Minnesota Legal Services in St. Cloud. Jeff holds membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Minnesota Association for Justice and the American, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Dakota County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Board of Governors for the Minnesota Association for Justice. Jeff is certified as a Civil Trial Law Specialist by both the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association, a distinction awarded to fewer than 2 percent of all of Minnesota's personal injury attorneys. Most recently, Jeff was named a 2017 Minnesota Super Lawyer honoree as well as a Top 100 Super Lawyer. Super Lawyer honorees are selected from an annual survey and the distinction is bestowed on less than 5% of Minnesota's practicing attorneys. The Top 100 selection is made from the 27,000+ active licensed lawyers in the State of Minnesota. Previously, Jeff was named a Super Lawyers Rising Stars honoree, he earned the distinction of Rising Star for eight consecutive years. In 2008, Jeff also received Minnesota Lawyer's "Up and Coming Attorneys" award. This award is reserved for attorneys who have distinguished themselves during their first 10 years of practice. Jeff was one of 25 honorees chosen. Jeff is fluent in Spanish and is actively involved in providing legal assistance to the Hispanic community.
