Biography

Jenna DiBenedetto is an Associate working in the Litigation Department at O'Connell and Aronowitz. Her work is focused primarily in Personal Injury Litigation and Criminal Defense. During her law school career, Jenna was a Legal Intern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York, as well as a Certified Legal Intern for the Albany County District Attorney’s Office where she wrote appeals under supervision on behalf of the People to the Appellate Division, Third Department.

Jenna earned her J.D. from Albany Law School with a Certificate in Civil Litigation with Honors where she was a recipient of the President’s Scholarship, as well as the recipient of the David S. Williams ’42 Scholarship. She additionally was recognized with induction to the National Order of Barristers, was a recipient of the 2022 Capital District Trial Lawyers Association Prize and was selected as the Class of 2022 recipient of the Wann Family Prize for Excellence in Business Law and Litigation. Jenna was an Executive Editor for the Albany Law School Center for Judicial Process and was an Executive Board Member of the 2021-2022 Anthony V. Cardona ’70 Moot Court Program, where she was the Chair of the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition. During her law school career, Jenna was a finalist in the Donna Jo Morse Negotiations Competition and a Brief Award Recipient for the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition.

Jenna received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Fordham University, where she majored in Environmental Studies and Anthropology on a Pre-Law track. While at Fordham, Jenna interned with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and was a member of the 2018 GO! Global Outreach team to Romania.

Jenna is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Albany County Bar Association, Capital District Women’s Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. She is a member of the New Lawyers Division with the American Association for Justice.
