Jennifer A. Deland

Jennifer Deland was born in Belfonte, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Ossining, New York. She graduated from Yale University, worked for a time as a paralegal for a New York law firm, then attended Boston University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 1986. She practiced law in New York City for several years before coming back to the Boston area in 1991.

In New York City, Counselor Deland practiced securities law, including the law of mutual funds. When she first established her own firm, she practiced in a variety of areas, including litigation, real estate law, and bankruptcy. Estate planning has proved to be the best way to use her abilities to serve her clients.

Counselor Deland is a member of the National Academy of Elder law Attorneys. She resides in Holliston. She is also a member of the Holliston Business Association.
