Biography

JENNIFER L. ODEN is a partner at SSJ Law whose practice areas include Land Use, Discretionary Entitlements and Zoning, Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) licensing and disciplinary actions, and Administrative Law. Licensed to practice throughout California, Jennifer has extensive experience in representing clients before local and state government bodies and agencies, including administrative hearings and appeals.

Before joining SSJ Law, Jennifer clerked for the Honorable Gail A. Randall in the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Office of Administrative Law Judges. She was selected for this position through the prestigious United States Department of Justice Attorney General’s Honors Program.

While attending Whittier Law School, Jennifer received many honors and awards for moot court and trial advocacy and was a staff editor of the Whittier Law Review.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with minors in Public Administration and Criminal Justice from Missouri State University under a full scholarship as a Division I softball player. She received the 2009 Missouri State Troy Leathers MVP Award and was a member of the 2005 Missouri Valley Conference championship team. Jennifer remains the statistical defensive leader of all time in the history of Missouri State University softball.

Jennifer is happily married to her husband, Greg, and they spend their personal time with their new baby girl, Mackenzie.
