Jennifer M. Wanner is a Senior Associate at Martin Clearwater Bell LLP, where she defends the Firm’s client doctors, hospitals, health care systems, and other medical professionals in a variety of medical malpractice and general liability maters. Responsibilities include drafting motions, attending court appearances, conducting discovery proceedings and depositions, arguing before judges for pre-trial discovery, and developing defense strategies.

Prior to joining MCB, Jennifer worked as an associate attorney at a law firm in New York where she gained litigation experience in the areas of real estate, securities, employment, entertainment, and commercial law. Specific responsibilities included legal research, drafting documents related to pre-trial motions and discovery, and preparing and filing appellate briefs. Prior to her role as an associate attorney, she also held an internship at ABC News, where she researched complex legal issues for the programs 20/20 and Nightline.

Jennifer received her B.A. cum laude in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also served as a Chairwoman for Bloomers, the all-female comedy troupe. She thereafter earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and served as one of the editors of The Cardozo Insider. Jennifer is also a proud alum of The Bronx High School of Science where she debated competitively. Jennifer is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
