Jennifer Nelson Haskins

Jennifer was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, and is a 1994 graduate of Stratford Academy. She is a 1997 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Georgia College & State University, and a 2000 graduate of Mercer Law School. Jennifer also participated in the Nation's first Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research and Drafting program at Mercer Law School. After graduation, Jennifer worked for a Superior Court Judge covering three Middle Georgia Counties. Subsequent to the Judicial Clerkship, Jennifer has practiced privately in many areas including condemnation, contract litigation, domestic litigation, personal injury, and criminal defense. In 2007, Jennifer joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor and obtained the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, along with Life Insurance and Variable Annuities licenses. She assisted and advised her clients in retirement plans, securities investments, and insurance protection plans. In 2009, she also obtained a Property and Casualty Insurance license.

Now Jennifer is utilizing her combined experiences in litigation and financial advisement in the area of Estate Planning and Probate matters. Jennifer assists individuals and families in preparing for the future and protecting their assets. She prepares Wills, Trusts, Financial Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives for Healthcare, Special Needs Trusts, Pet Trusts, etc. She assists surviving spouses in filing claims for Year's Support, and Probating wills. She assists families in the tough areas of Medicaid planning for future nursing home care and the contemplation of possible guardianships and conservatorships for their loved ones. Jennifer is a member of the Leadership Macon Class of 2013, as well as a member of the Greater Macon Women's Business Owners, and the Macon Estate Planning Council.

Jennifer's office is located at 3402 Vineville Avenue, in Macon. She is a member of Macon's First BNI Chapter and maintains a close relationship with 30 other local business owners, continuing a strong referral network of professionals. Jennifer lives in Macon with her four dogs, K.C. Marie, Joseph Black, Shotzie and Emma Leigh Grace.
