Biography

Jennifer Reiber was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, during her father’s final semester of law school and has been a lifelong University of Michigan fan. When she was five, her family relocated to South Florida, where she later graduated from the New World School of the Arts High School as a theater major in 1992. Her passion for the arts led her to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 1995. Inspired to combine her love for communication and advocacy, she went on to earn her law degree from Florida State University in 1999. During law school, Jennifer was a standout student, serving as President of the Dispute Resolution Society, a member of the state championship mock trial team, a moot court competitor, and the Articles and Notes Editor for the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law.

After earning her degree, Jennifer began her legal career in Jacksonville, Florida, where she has lived and practiced ever since. From the very start, she focused on representing plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and nursing home cases, developing a reputation for her compassion and dedication to clients seeking justice. Her deep understanding of complex medical and legal issues allowed her to build a respected career in the field of medical malpractice and personal injury law.

In 2010, Jennifer brought her experience to the classroom as a Professor at Florida Coastal School of Law, where she taught Personal Injury Law, Legal Research and Writing, Depositions, ADR, and Mock Trial. She also served as Mock Trial Director, coaching students and leading them to competitions across the country. Over the course of her decade-long teaching career, she held several Dean positions and received multiple awards for her teaching and service. In 2021, Jennifer returned to private practice, gaining valuable perspective from a brief period working with a defense firm before returning to her true calling—advocating for plaintiffs. Today, she proudly represents clients as a medical malpractice attorney at Morgan and Morgan. Outside of her professional life, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, a law professor, and their three children.
