Biography

Jennifer Vidal joined Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson, LLP in 2021, bringing prior experience from various law firms with a focus on personal injury and immigration matters. Ms. Vidal’s academic path began at Florida International University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and graduated with Dean’s List honors. During undergraduate, she encountered her first brush with the law while working under an immigration attorney. The impact, emotion and brevity of the cases struck Ms. Vidal, sparking her interest in client-centered advocacy and defensive litigation.

She pursued her Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, distinguishing herself early through prestigious Book Awards in Legal Research & Writing and Trial Advocacy, which recognize the student with the highest academic achievement in those courses. During law school, Ms. Vidal notably served as an intern for the Honorable Kal Evans of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, a formative experience that allowed her to explore the intricacies of criminal defense law and hone her natural gifts of composure and clarity. Today, Ms. Vidal concentrates her practice on insurance defense and general liability matters, as well as select personal injury disputes. A native Floridian of Cuban and Spanish descent, Ms. Vidal speaks both English and Spanish.

Ms. Vidal’s personal strengths - specifically, her discerning eye for detail, quiet calculative mind, and level-headed nature - strongly complement her legal work, distinguishing her both in and out of the courtroom. She does not shy away from difficult technical analysis, procedural precision, or contentious disputes. Rather, she is methodical in her approach, bringing extraordinary focus, consistency, and cool confidence to every professional endeavor. Outside of the office, Ms. Vidal enjoys cooking, unwinding, and spending time with close friends and family.

As your attorney, Ms. Vidal promises results, efficiency and relentless drive. She is meticulous in her methodology, resolution-oriented by nature and patient in her practice and personal life. Over the past five years in our office, Ms. Vidal has positioned herself to be one of the brightest attorneys representing and epitomizing Walton Lantaff’s excellence.
