Biography

I focus on civil and criminal litigation, including trial practice and appeals, for businesses, individuals, government entities, and utilities. I represent clients in state and federal courts and in administrative courts. The majority of my practice has been devoted to business, commercial, and construction litigation, criminal defense, divorce and other domestic litigation, government and internal investigations, personal injury, trust and estate litigation, and trust and will contests. I have tried a number of jury and bench trials to verdict and prepared briefs for and presented oral argument to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court, and the Tennessee Court of Appeals on many occasions.
