Biography

I am a partner at the law firm of Bird, Jacobsen & Stevens, P.C.  I am a trial lawyer with experience in product liability, employment, medical malpractice, agriculture and personal injury litigation. I also devotes a significant portion of his practice to workers´ compensation matters.  I received my B.S. in political science from Luther College in 1997 and my J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 2000.  While in law school, I was an editor for the Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy and litigated in the regional Mock Trial Competition.  I am a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Minnesota Association for Justice and have served on the 3rd District Ethics Committee and the 3rd District New Lawyers Chairperson.  I currently am on the Board of Governors for Minnesota Association for Justice.  I am a member and past president of the Chatfield Lions Club.   I live in Southeastern Minnesota where I was born and raised.
