Biography

Jeremy Sylestine brings over 15 years of experience as an Assistant District Attorney for Travis County, where he most recently served as Team Lead for the 147th District Court trial team. Prior to that, he dedicated over seven years to handling child abuse and domestic violence cases. Before his tenure as a prosecutor, Jeremy worked as an assistant public defender in private practice in the Texas Panhandle, gaining valuable defense experience. Recognized as a skilled trial attorney, Jeremy has successfully handled complex capital murder, aggravated felony, child abuse, and domestic violence cases. His deep understanding of prosecution strategies allows him to anticipate the State’s approach and build a strong, strategic defense. He firmly believes that the most effective attorney in the courtroom is the one who is best prepared and remains committed to being a fierce advocate for his clients.

Having spent years working alongside law enforcement in the Austin area, Jeremy understands both the strengths and weaknesses of criminal allegations. He is dedicated to using his insider knowledge and extensive trial experience to protect his clients’ rights and achieve the best possible outcome in every case.
