Biography

Jesse Pyle is originally from Athens, Ohio. He graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio University Honors Tutorial College in 2011, with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the SUNY Buffalo School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Jesse concentrated on the study of criminal law, and began working for Harrington & Mahoney as a student law clerk in 2015. He continued as an associate attorney with the firm when he was admitted to the bar. As a law student, he interned with U.S. District Judge Cynthia M. Rufe in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was also one of the founding members of the SUNY Buffalo Law Innocence & Justice Project, a program created by a respected local defense attorney, the late John Nuchereno, to provide post-conviction services to inmates in the Western New York area.Jesse’s practice is in criminal defense. He is admitted to practice in all New York State courts the federal court for the Western District of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Jesse is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Erie County, the Niagara County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York State Defenders Association.
