Biography

Jesse Cohn is Special Counsel with Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP in its New York City office and a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Jesse’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, representing buyers and sellers of cooperative apartment interests, condominiums, single and multiple family homes, as well as leasing matters. Mr. Cohn has extensive experience with co-op applications and working with cooperative and condominium boards. Jesse is also experienced in personal injury and estate litigation.

Jesse received his B.A. degree in History from the State University of New York at Albany, and his J.D. with a concentration in Real Estate Law from New York Law School. Prior to joining Hinman, Howard and Kattell, LLP, Jesse was an associate with the law firm of Irwin, Lewin, Cohn & Lewin, P.C. for 12 years, where he gained valuable experience handling a broad range of transactional and litigation matters.

Jesse is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, as well as in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
