Biography

Jessica Batten represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the country. She has significant experience with business torts, contract disputes, civil rights, intellectual property rights, and disability discrimination, among other specialties.

Ms. Batten has experience handling civil appeals brought in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Eleventh, and Federal Circuits, as well as Florida’s District Courts of Appeal.

Before Ms. Batten joined Morgan & Morgan, she worked as an intern for the Juvenile Advocacy Clinic at the University of Florida, where she represented children in delinquency and dependency cases. She also worked as an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida and the Pasco County Attorney’s Office.
