Biography

Jessica D. Hollan earned her Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Forensic Psychology from Tiffin University in 2019 and her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2022. During law school, she gained a wide range of legal experience, interning at the Victoria County District Attorney’s Office, working as a law clerk at Legal Services of South Central Michigan, and serving as both a researcher and editor for the Citing Slavery Project. She was also Editor-in-Chief of the Animal and Natural Resource Law Review at MSU Law. Her exceptional research and writing skills have led to multiple published works and authored legal opinions.

Prior to entering private practice, Jessica served as a Judicial Clerk at the 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills, where she gained invaluable insight into courtroom procedures and judicial expectations.

Jessica is licensed to practice law in all Michigan state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She is a fierce and compassionate advocate for individuals facing misdemeanor and felony charges in both state and federal courts. As an attorney with LEWIS & DICKSTEIN, P.L.L.C., Jessica is known for her deep commitment to her clients, tireless preparation, and strategic, results-driven defense.
