Biography

Jessica Koester is the founding lawyer and owner of our firm. With nearly 20 years of high-caliber legal experience, she has helped many individuals find favorable resolutions to their criminal charges. She addresses criminal cases at both the state and federal levels, is skilled in criminal appeals and has tried many cases before judges and juries. Ms. Koester is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Missouri.

Sje graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, May 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School, South Bend, IN, May 2002 with her Juris Doctor. While in law school she began clerking with the law firm of Lucco, Brown and Mudge. After graduation she was hired on as an associate and worked there for 8 years until starting my own firm. She licensed in Illinois and Missouri and have been admitted to practice in the Southern District of Illinois, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the American Bar Association, The Illinois State Bar Association, The Madison County Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
