Biography

Jessica began her legal career clerking at the Massachusetts Superior Court, where she assisted the Justices in all phases of criminal and civil litigation, including employment and discrimination matters. Following her clerkship, Jessica worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Massachusetts in the Sexual Assault and Family Violence Unit, where she was responsible for handling all aspects of a diverse felony and misdemeanor caseload, from conducting evidentiary hearings and drafting pretrial pleadings to presenting cases for bench and jury trials. Jessica was then appointed to the Appeals Unit, where she drafted briefs and petitions for interlocutory appeals, and successfully argued several cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Bucknell University and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honors society. She holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, where she was a member of the Restorative Justice and Civil Rights clinic. Jessica is admitted to the Massachusetts state bar.
