Biography

Jian Micah P. De Jesus is an associate attorney at WSHB's Dallas, Texas, office, specializing in commercial and business litigation.

She graduated from the SMU Dedman School of Law, where she participated in the Corporate Counsel Externship Program and interned in the in-house legal department of an architecture firm. Jian also studied abroad in London through Southwestern Law School's London International Entertainment Program, spending a summer focused on entertainment law and the negotiation and drafting of international entertainment contracts. While serving as a staff editor and later as the lead articles editor for the SMU Law Review, she authored an article that explored the intersection of trade secret rights in criminal justice technologies and the privileges of criminal defendants. This article was selected for publication in the SMU Law Review Forum.

Jian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from Florida International University.
