Biography

Jin Xin is a real estate attorney who provides legal counsel on the acquisition, development, disposition, financing, and leasing of a diverse range of properties. Her knowledge and experience span various asset classes, including vacant land, office and apartment buildings, shopping centers, and large-scale mixed-use, hotel, condominium, office, and retail projects. Jin began her career in corporate law, gaining valuable experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and general corporate matters.

Experience: Representative Matters: Represented a Connecticut-based real estate lender on multiple acquisition and construction loans in the aggregate amount of $214 million for projects including office buildings, luxury single-family homes, and high-rise condominiums in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Miami Beach, and Sarasota.; Represented a New York-based developer securing a $39 million acquisition loan for a 650 apartment units project south of Dadeland Mall.; Acted as Florida local counsel for borrowers on multistate loans and advised on Florida recording taxes and state-specific provisions of the loan documents.; Represented a major Florida grocery chain on leasing transactions throughout Florida.; Conducted title review of individual residential parcels in connection with a multi-county power line project for a major Florida power company.; Conducted pro bono work in relation to a merger between two nonprofit housing entities.; The above representations were handled by Ms. Xin prior to her joining Greenberg Traurig, P.A.; Previous Experience: Dedicated Customer Service Professional, ExxonMobil (China) Investment Co., Ltd., 2012-2013; Internships: Extern, Chiesi USA, Inc., 2017; Judicial Intern, Hon.
