JoAnn P. Harri, Esq.

Born in New York City on January 1, 1959, JoAnn Harri has combined strong academic achievement with decades of litigation experience. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Long Island University, CW Post College in 1981, graduating magna cum laude. During college, she was inducted into the Phi Eta Honor Society and appeared on the Dean’s List every year. She received her law degree from SUNY Buffalo’s School of Law in 1986. JoAnn’s early legal work included positions with Sullivan & Cromwell and the law office of Micheal J. Siris in New York, along with Peirez, Ackerman, and Levine in Great Neck, where she handled complex commercial litigation and learned the value of detailed preparation. She has been a partner at Smalline and Harri since the firm was founded in 1994. Her current practice focuses on civil litigation, including a dedicated concentration on sexual abuse cases, where she brings a thoughtful, determined approach and a strong commitment to helping clients pursue accountability and justice.
