Biography

Joe Yeager is a distinguished attorney and partner at our Wilmington office, known for his extensive background in corporate law, insurance litigation, and environmental and toxic tort matters. He brings over 20 years of experience to the firm.

Joe has extensive experience in the area of environmental and toxic tort law. He is a trusted advisor on matters such as CERCLA (Superfund), RCRA, and state environmental regulations. He represents local and national companies in enforcement actions brought by federal agencies and State Attorneys General, and he advises clients on common law contractual issues related to cleanup liability.

Joe expertise includes corporate and commercial transactions, from business entity formation to dissolution. His skills in negotiating commercial agreements and advising on corporate governance are highly regarded by national and multinational corporations. In addition, Joe is proficient in electronic discovery and regulatory compliance risk management in large-scale litigations.

Before joining the firm, Joe served as Alderman Judge for Court 42 in Newport, Delaware, appointed by Governor Ruth Ann Miller.
