Biography

Joel A. Flaxman is a 2007 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He joined the firm after leaving the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, where he litigated on behalf of victims of housing discrimination in federal courts across the country. Joel has experience as a law clerk for a federal district court judge and as a staff law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Joel also served as part-time faculty in the advocacy program at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
