"How much do you charge?"

I handle all my personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis. Doing a case on a "contingency fee" means that I am paid an agreed percentage of any settlement I am able to obtain on your behalf. You never pay me anything throughout the handling of your case and you do not pay me any hourly fee at any time. I am paid an agreed upon percentage of any settlement or verdict that I help you receive from the opposing party. I only get paid if I obtain a settlement or jury verdict on your behalf. If for any reason I am unable to get a settlement in your favor, you never owe me any money for trying.

I offer contingency percentages lower than the industry average. The average contingency fee in Georgia is 33% for a settlement without filing a lawsuit and 40% for a settlement or verdict after filing a lawsuit. In comparison, I typically agree that my fee will be 30% for a settlement without filing a lawsuit and 39% for cases in which I file a lawsuit.
