Joel L. Peschke

Named an "Ohio Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics Media in 2014 and again in 2015, an honor bestowed on no more than 5% of the lawyers in the state, Joel L. Peschke has been defending physicians, medical care providers, and mental health professionals against allegations of professional negligence since 2000. Prior to being selected as a "Super Lawyer," Joel was named an "Ohio Super Lawyers - Rising Star" by that same publication in 2009, 2010, 2011,2012 and 2013, an honor bestowed on only 2.5% of the best up-and-coming attorneys in Ohio who are either 40 years of age or younger or have been practicing 10 or fewer years.
Joel has extensive experience handling complex medical malpractice claims from inception to close. In that role, he has successfully defended numerous clients in jury trials, including catastrophic injury cases such as alleged birth injuries, and wrongful death. He also has extensive appellate experience, appearing on numerous occasions before the First District Court of Appeals.
Joel is a 1995 Cum Laude graduate from the University of Memphis, where he attended as a full scholarship member of the football team, and a 2000 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
An elected member of the Milford High School (Ohio) Athletic Hall of Fame, Mr. Peschke currently resides in Loveland, Ohio.
