Biography

Joey Baertschi is an associate in the Bose McKinney & Evans Litigation Group. Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans full time, Joey worked as a summer associate at the firm in 2021 and 2022. He employs a client-first approach focused on efficient dispute resolution. He has worked on cases encompassing a variety of topics, including:

• Complex commercial litigation

• Contract and insurance disputes

• Breach of fiduciary duty

• Intentional torts

• Non-compete, confidentiality, and non-solicitation agreements

• Wage / hour compliance and defense

He began his career with Bose McKinney & Evans as an administrative assistant and Labor and Employment Group paralegal before starting law school in 2019. He graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in May 2023. During his time in law school, he clerked for the Hon. Heather A. Welch on the Indiana Commercial Court, Marion County. His experience in the legal field gives him a unique perspective that helps him develop personal, genuine relationships with clients.
