Johanna Aguilera is an Associate at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP, where she defends medical professionals and health care organizations against a variety of medical malpractice claims.

She independently managed a caseload of medical malpractice claims and worked collaboratively to develop case strategies. Specific responsibilities included drafting motions and pleadings; performing legal research; supporting trial preparation; and representing clients at in-person court conferences. She also generated regular reports to insurance carriers andclients regarding current case status.

Earlier in her career, Johanna held internships at several metropolitan-area law firms, as well as an internship in the New York State Supreme Court. These positions afforded exposure to a variety of practice areas, including immigration law, and formed a solid foundation for developing the diverse skills that are vital to success in the litigation arena.

Johanna received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Hunter College, City University of New York in 2019, and earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2024. She is admitted to practice in New York.
