Biography

John Gaylord’s practice focuses on public law, including the representation of cities, towns, counties, school districts, sovereign states, and tribal entities. Before joining Gust Rosenfeld, he worked for the City of Mesa, Arizona, and served as in-house counsel to a developing state. As an experienced general counsel, he assists public entities with a wide range of matters, including development agreements, land use, construction law, civil rights, human resources, procurement, utilities, water resources, intergovernmental agreements, and litigation.
