Biography

John C. Burns received his undergraduate degree from Hartwick College in 2014 and his law degree from the University at Buffalo in 2017. John previously acted as assistant coach to the Red Hook High School Mock Trial Team and served as an independent contractor to the Columbia County Public Defender’s Office, where he represented defendants at arraignments outside of regular court hours. He is admitted to practice in New York and in the Federal District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York. John concentrates his practice in civil litigation, municipal defense, and insurance defense.
