Biography

John C. Molluzzo, Jr. is Of Counsel in the Litigation Practice of the firm's New York office. Mr. Molluzzo is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer with a diverse practice focused on a broad range of complex commercial litigation, as well as litigation involving financial services, real estate, and antitrust claims. Mr. Molluzzo has also represented clients in internal investigations and before regulatory agencies.

Mr. Molluzzo has taken matters to arbitration and trial before the International Chamber of Commerce, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and in federal and state court. He has substantial brief-writing experience and has drafted and argued discovery, dispositive, and pretrial motions. Mr. Molluzzo also has deep experience in oral advocacy, having argued several discovery motions, dispositive motions, and multiple appeals. He also has considerable experience presenting witnesses at hearings and trials, as well as questioning fact and expert witnesses.

Mr. Molluzzo’s clients are diverse, including multinational and domestic corporations and institutions, privately held companies, high-wealth individuals, and insurers throughout the country. He is well versed in a broad array of issues, including contract disputes, securities claims, alleged fraud and/or breach of fiduciary duty claims, real estate disputes, creditors’ rights (including commercial foreclosures under the Uniform Commercial Code), insurance issues, and business torts. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including the pharmaceutical, biotechnical, financial services, insurance, real estate, banking, and hospitality sectors.

Mr. Molluzzo also has an active pro bono practice, having obtained Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for several applicants.

Mr. Molluzzo received his A.B. degree from Georgetown University, magna cum laude. He received his law degree from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar.
