Biography

John Davis Cox is a shareholder/partner at Lynch, Cox, Gilman & Goodman, P.S.C. All of his practice is devoted to civil litigation, including business and commercial litigation, as well as catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death.

Mr. Cox is a Louisville native who received his B.A. from the University of Louisville as well as his Juris Doctor Degree, both of which were with magna cum laude honors. He has extensive experience doing complex litigation, and has obtained several multi-million dollar results, including most recently the resolution of a Federal Tort Claims Act case for wrongful death, which was featured in the National Verdict Search Publication, along with the USA Today and New York Times. He has represented various business clients, including local and regional banks, physicians, insurance companies, and sports and entertainment groups as well as numerous personal injury and wrongful death clients.
