Biography

Attorney John Sarai built his practice around helping people get through some of life’s most stressful problems. He represents personal injury clients in a wide range of cases, including auto and truck collisions, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents, dog bites, and slip-and-fall and other premises liability claims. He also takes on more complex matters involving government entities, public property hazards, and injuries connected to buses, public transportation, and rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft. On the financial side, John has guided thousands of clients through consumer and business bankruptcy, discharging millions in debt and helping many protect key assets while working toward a fresh start. He also stands up to creditors and collection agencies, securing recoveries for clients when calls, texts, or collection practices violate the TCPA or FDCPA. After starting at California’s largest consumer bankruptcy firm, John went on to co-found and manage his own firm before creating Shield Law Group, APLC, where he combines big-firm experience with hands-on attention. Outside the office, he enjoys family time and coaching youth basketball.
