John E. Kaskey, Esq.

John Kaskey is a founder of the firm and its senior transactional lawyer. John’s unique skill set of corporate and business law, tax law and bankruptcy law renders him an expert at resolving intricate business issues. His skillful approach to structuring/resolving his clients’ financial issues produces virtually unassailable results for them.

John served as a law clerk to Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Anthony M. Kennedy (later Supreme Court Justice Kennedy). He is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers™ (exclusive to those who have achieved the Highest Possible Peer Review Rating in both the Legal Ability and Ethical Standards) and is a perennially named Super Lawyer®, among other honors. He has handled some of the most significant equity and asset sales, business bankruptcy reorganizations, loan workouts and a wide array of tax matters.

John earned a B.S.from Bucknell University in 1978. He graduated from the UOP School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1981, where he was a Member, Order of the Coif and the Traynor Society. He received his LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law in 1982. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Temple University where he taught tax law. John has been admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California and New York.
