John Galligan

John Galligan’s passion for criminal defense started back in law school at the University of Denver, and he hasn’t slowed down since. After spending over a decade with the Denver Public Defender’s Office, John has handled just about every type of case imaginable, from misdemeanors to complex organized crime and homicide trials. With more than 40 trials under his belt as lead or co-counsel, he is incredibly comfortable in front of a judge or jury. At DeChant Law, John brings that extensive experience to criminal defense and driver’s license matters, but he’s also our go-to for post-conviction work.
