Biography

John Hennan loves to advocate, and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. John seeks out clients who deserve dedicated and calculated representation. He has experience in both trial and appellate courts, and in addition to being Board Certified, has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year for the last eight years. In 2022, John was additionally named a Super Lawyers “Up and Coming 100.” John is also a Certified Mediator and is frequently called upon to mediate all types of family cases.

John relishes international travel, enjoys reading and studying medieval and renaissance history, listens to all kinds of music (from Iron Maiden to Amy Winehouse), and spends extended periods of time roughhousing with his two dogs, Bruni and Perla. He enjoys being active, working out, hiking, and playing rugby. John earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, and earned a Master of Laws while studying abroad at University College London.

While John consistently practices all areas of family law, he finds particular purpose in advocating for the following clients and cases:

• High net-worth & complex asset divorce property divisions

• Serving as mediator for parties and attorneys in divorce and custody litigation
