Biography

John P. DiMascio Jr. is the managing partner of DiMascio & Associates, LLP, and has been with the practice since 1998 after earning his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1997. Admitted to practice in New York State Courts, he has built extensive litigation experience across the Supreme Court, Family Court, and appellate courts. Recognized for his negotiation skills, he consistently works toward achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. Mr. DiMascio is a former chair of the Matrimonial Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and a past editor of its publication, Recent Decisions in Matrimonial Law. He is also a member of the New York Family Law Chapter of the American Inns of Court and the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. His representation of celebrity and high net-worth clients has led to citations in the New York Law Journal, Newsday, and the New York Post. He has authored articles for the Family Law Review and the Nassau Lawyer and has led CLE seminars for various legal organizations. Mr. DiMascio's accolades include recognition by Super Lawyers, the Jurisperitus Award, the David S. Taub Award, and the Richard Keidel Memorial Award for his advocacy in matrimonial law.
