Biography

Mr. Hannigan is the head of our Product Liability Practice Group. He is also a member of the Toxic Tort/Complex Litigation Practice Groups and co-chair of the Construction Law Practice Group.

For over ten years, Mr. Hannigan was a federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice and a New York City prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. During that time, he litigated antitrust, organized crime and major felony cases.

Since entering private practice in 1988, Mr. Hannigan has acted as lead trial counsel in significant product liability, toxic torts, and employment cases. His present practice includes the representation of a variety of corporations in litigated matters, including serving as coordinating counsel for corporate clients. Mr. Hannigan also represents clients in construction litigation and defending toxic tort claims .
