John P. Jimenez

John Jimenez is the Supervising Pre-Litigation Attorney for Shook & Stone. A talented negotiator and litigator, John Jimenez’s ability and experience in Personal Injury and other civil litigation matters instill confidence in his clients. He is a creative thinker who develops solutions for complex legal issues. For example, John received a maximum award of $1.5 million for his seriously injured clients from a ride-share company in pre-litigation, avoiding unnecessary time and delay in litigation.

He attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Classics Cum Laude in 1994 and his Juris Doctorate in 1998. He has considerable experience in Personal Injury and civil litigation matters, currently representing plaintiffs exclusively, but he has previously represented Fortune 500 companies and large municipalities before he realized that winning for the “little guy” was much more rewarding professionally.

When not in the office, John loves spending time with his children, Lleyton and Elle. Do not be surprised to run into him at a rock concert or dining out—he considers himself “a foodie.” He is a firm believer that “life is too short to eat bad food or listen to bad music.”
