John R. McGlenn

John R. McGlenn joined the Elmira, New York office of Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP after more than thirty-five years practicing general law with the Buck, Danaher, Ryan and McGlenn law firm of Elmira, New York. In addition, during his tenure as a lawyer, John has served as an assistant district attorney, village attorney, and law clerk to a New York Supreme Court Justice. John continues with his general law practice concentrating in areas of Surrogate’s Court practice, wills and estates, and real estate.

John has served on various municipal boards including town planning board, town board of assessment and review, and as a volunteer fire district commissioner. John has also served on the board of directors of Legal Assistance of Western New York. John, a native of Elmira, New York, also served as an officer in the United States Army Reserve. John is a member of the New York State and Chemung County Bar Associations.
