John Taylor is a Senior Associate Attorney with Stange Law Firm, proudly serving clients from the firm’s Indianapolis, Indiana office. He is committed to providing thoughtful representation to individuals and families as they navigate difficult and emotional legal challenges.John earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, graduating magna cum laude in May 2008. During his time in law school, he distinguished himself academically and served as a Note Development Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review. Prior to law school, John completed his Bachelor of Science in Marketing at Indiana University in Bloomington, graduating in December 2003.Before joining Stange Law Firm in Indianapolis, Indiana, John developed extensive experience in litigation and client advocacy across a variety of legal roles. Most recently, he served as an Associate Attorney with The Liberty Mutual Group in Indianapolis, Indiana, where, for a decade, he represented clients in all phases of litigation. His work included drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for depositions and trial, conducting discovery, assisting with negotiating settlements, and mentoring junior attorneys and staff. Prior to that, John worked as a Paralegal at Liberty Mutual and as a Staff Attorney at AHC, Inc. in Gainesville, Virginia, where he focused on analyzing health insurance contracts, handling appeals, and negotiating resolutions. These positions gave him a wide range of practical experience, from motion practice to client counseling, that he now applies to his work at Stange Law Firm.John is licensed to practice law in Indiana and holds an associate membership with the Virginia State Bar. His background in litigation, combined with his dedication to client service, allows him to approach family law cases with clarity and compassion. He understands the challenges that clients face during divorce and custody disputes and is committed to advocating for outcomes that protect their rights and support their future.
