Born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley, I graduated from California State University of Fresno and the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. After law school, I returned home to practice law and began my career at the Fresno County Public Defender’s Office in order to gain valuable trial experience. When I left the Public Defender’s Office and decided to open my own practice, I was on the “Major Crimes Team” which consisted of attorneys that handled the most difficult criminal cases like homicides, Three Strikes cases, cases with high prison exposures, cases involving complex legal issues, cases with a voluminous amount of discovery and cases receiving media attention. I am recognized by the California State Bar as a Certified Legal Specialist in the area of Criminal Law and certified to handle death penalty cases. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and working on the family farm growing almonds, pistachios, cherries, and raisin grapes.
