Biography

Jon Phillips graduated from Purdue University in 1999 and received his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in 2003. In 2004 he was admitted to practice before all Indiana Courts and the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

He served as Deputy Prosecutor, Tippecanoe County, 2004-2006 and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Tippecanoe County Bar Association.

He has represented criminal defendants since entering private practice five years ago. He practices almost exclusively in criminal law. His practice has grown steadily over the years. Jon joined Tom Herr in the practice of law in 2007.

Since being in private practice, he has continued to work hard to gain a reputation for fairness among judges, prosecutors and other participates in the criminal justice system. He has continued to build upon the relationships that began when he was a deputy prosecutor.
