Jonathan A. Cusson has nearly 20 years of experience handling, settling and trying to verdict cases involving serious injuries or death caused by medical malpractice. Jon is the managing attorney for the firm’s Medical Malpractice group. Prior to representing victims of medical malpractice, he was a partner with a prominent law firm specializing in the defense of health care professionals who were sued for medical malpractice. This experience uniquely situates him to anticipate the defense that may be used in a given case before suit is even filed. Jon has handled cases involving all areas of medical negligence (from emergency room visits to hospital and surgical care to birth injuries), cases of sexual abuse, group home abuse, neglect occurring at long-term care facilities, serious automobile accidents and sports injuries.
Jon has been honored as a Maryland Super Lawyer and is AV rated by Martindale Hubble (the highest rating for ethics and legal competency). He is committed to providing sound representation to his clients. During his high school time here in Baltimore, and college studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Jon was recognized for his achievements in academics and athletics.
