Biography

Jon Rabinowitz has been honored with the prestigious “AV Rating” by Martindale Hubbell.

Jonathan Rabinowitz serves as the Managing Partner for the firm’s Kentucky offices. In addition to his duties as Managing Partner, he devotes a substantial portion of his practice to catastrophic personal injury cases, wrongful death claims, complex litigation and complex governmental actions. Mr. Rabinowitz has been honored with the prestigious “AV Rating” by Martindale Hubbell. The rating is based upon evaluations by other lawyers and is the highest ranking attainable for an attorney for ability and ethics in the practice of law.

Mr. Rabinowitz graduated Magna Cum Laude from Newberry College where he played football and was Student Body President. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law, where he was Torts Editor of the Journal of Law and Education. During law school, he also had the privilege of clerking with then Senate President David Williams. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Rabinowitz was a Partner in a law firm that represented insurance carriers in State and Federal Courts throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In April of 2020 Mr. Rabinowitz was appointed by Governor Beshear as Chairman of the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. He was also named the Chair of the Kentucky Horsemen Race Date Committee. Prior to that time Mr. Rabinowitz was appointed to Governor Beshear’s Transition Team for the Public Protection Cabinet.

Mr. Rabinowitz is married to Kathleen Kelly Rabinowitz with whom he as 3 children: Caroline, Madelynn and Charlotte.
