Biography

Jonathan Chan received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the Boston University School of Law in 2014. He previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, graduating with Honors and recognition from Pi Sigma Alpha (the Political Science Honor Society).

Mr. Chan has advised businesses and individuals on various disputes, ranging from misappropriation of trade secrets to breaches of contract. With experience in both federal and California courts, he has worked on cases against individuals, corporate entities, and counties. He has drafted and opposed various types of pleadings, including motions for summary judgment and motions for reconsideration.

Mr. Chan also has years of experience with legal issues commonly involved in daily business operations, particularly in employment matters, real property matters, and business transactions. He has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, tailoring each contract to address each client’s needs.

While we believe that litigation should be avoided in the best interests of both parties, Mr. Chan is well-prepared to assist clients in the litigation process whenever necessary.
