Jonathan Patrick Tepe

Jonathan Tepe is an Associate in the Nashville office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.A. from the Ohio State University.Prior to joining Sanford Heisler Sharp, Mr. Tepe clerked for the Honorable Sarah A. L. Merriam, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Connecticut. Before his clerkship, Mr. Tepe was a litigation associate at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he worked on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters and various pro bono cases. Mr. Tepe also served as a Neighborhood Team Leader for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Campaign.At Columbia Law School, Mr. Tepe was a member of the Human Rights Law Review and participated in the Human Rights Internship Program. Mr. Tepe contributed to litigation seeking to secure adequate furniture for impoverished schools as an intern with the Legal Resources Centre in Grahamstown, South Africa. Mr. Tepe also defended low-income families as an extern with The Bronx Defenders and worked to expand voting rights as an extern with The Center for Popular Democracy.
